President Muhammadu Buhari says he stopped his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina from replying former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter against his administration because “of Adesina’s age”.
The president explained the reasons when members of Buhari Support Organisation visited him at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Friday night.

Two Nigerian migrants among the victims of drive-by shooting in Italy


Two Nigerian migrants Jennifer and Gideon were among the six Africans injured in the brazen drive-by shootings in central Italy last Saturday.
A gunman later identified as a right wing extremist, Luca Traini, draped in an Italian flag had opened fire on passersby in the central Italian city of Macerata, injuring the African migrants in an attack that officials say appear to be racially motivated. See previous report here

One of the largest hospitals in the UK is chasing a bill of more than £500,000 (N252,079,200) from a Nigerian woman who gave birth to quadruplets.

The 43-year-old, named only as Priscilla, went into labour three months early shortly after landing at Heathrow airport in November. She had intended to give birth to the babies in Chicago, in the US, where she has family – but was turned away by border officials upon arrival.
