Sevilla are confident on a loan deal for Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi in January but must wait for the Premier League club to find a replacement striker.
A report in El Desmarque outlines how Los Rojiblancos are keen to add to their striking firepower and provide further competition for Wissam Ben Yedder and Luis Muriel.
Batshuayi joined Chelsea in 2016 but has failed to cement his place in the team, firstly as a deputy to Diego Costa before playing second fiddle to Alvaro Morata this season.
The 24-year-old has started only three Premier League matches in two-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge, while the Blues reportedly are keen on a deal for West Ham United’s Andy Carroll, according to reports in England.
